For those applicants listing their homes/assets (you are happy to have your home stayed in by others, or for other people to use your asset):
1. Photos: We recommend you have some photos of your home/s and/or assets ready to upload onto
our listing form. Our research shows listings with photos attached have
a much higher hit rate that those that do not have photos.
2. Blurbs: It will save you time if you have the following blurbs prepared: a/ about you: introducing yourself and, if applicable, your family - for others members to read if you apply to stay in their home/s; and b/ about your home/s and or asset/s - what is special about your home? Why would someone want to stay there? What are the close by attractions? What can you do with your asset? How will your asset be of benefit to other members?
3. Deciding what rate to set: click our rate setting guidelines so you know what rate to charge for your home/asset (daily, weekly, monthly). You will need this figure when you register.
4. Available Dates: think about when you would like to list your home/s and/or asset/s as being available to be stayed in. Of course you may update the dates available, or any information, online at any stage.
For applicants not listing their homes/assets: (you wish to stay in others' homes or use assets, but do not wish anyone to stay in your home or use your assets)
1. Blurb: prepare a small blurb about yourself, so when you contact a member and apply to stay in their home, they can find out some information about you.
For ALL applicants: Reading Terms and Conditions Next read our terms and conditions. By applying for membership, you signify you have read and understood our T's and C's.
Online Application Then, simply click on the join now tab and fill in the online form. You will be asked for some personal details and also details about your home/s and/or assets if you are listing any. Lastly (if you are listing a home/s or asset/s), we ask you to place a pin on our interactive map, to indicate your home's correct position.
You can then enjoy the freedom of asset exchange! Welcome. If you wish to use another member's assets, points will be transferred from your account into their account. You can increase your account balance by either having people stay in your home, or by simply purchasing points - see buy/sell in the members' area. You are free to withdraw money from your account at any time - making it possible to rent your asset using reciplocation.
